I am attorney Irwin E. Weiss. In 1978 — the year I graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law — I began my practice as a personal injury lawyer. Since then, I and my law firm have focused on meeting the legal needs of injured people and their families.
I am admitted to practice in Maryland state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
Since 1990, I have consistently been named AV Preeminent* (previously AV) in Martindale-Hubbell's peer review ratings. Since 2007, I have also been listed in each annual addition of Maryland Super Lawyers. I have also held key positions within many professional associations.
